Meet Adalyn West, a CHD Warrior!

What is CHD?  CHD is the abbreviation for Congenital Heart Defect, which is a defect of the heart present at birth.  Like many others, we didn't know CHD existed until our sweet Adalyn was born with a rare CHD.  CHD effects 1 in 100 babies.  This means that every 15 minutes, a child is born with a CHD.  Many babies born with CHD will not make it to their 1st birthday.  Sadly this was the case for our Heart Warrior, Adalyn.  We have set out to fight this disease that is taking our children.  It is the #1 birth defect, yet it is so drastically underfunded.  For every dollar that the government sets aside for medical research, only a fraction of a penny goes to CHD research.  We CAN change this.  We can be the difference.  Please consider being an item donor or being a sponsor of the Spread Your Sparkle Benefit.  In doing so, you could save a Heart Warrior like Adalyn.  You could be the difference!
