Our Mission:
Every 15 minutes, a child is born with a Congenital Heart Defect. This means that 1 in 100 children are impacted by the #1 most common birth defect, yet only a fraction of a penny of every dollar spent by the government on medical research goes to Congenital Heart Defects. Until Adalyn was born, we did not know what CHD even was. With it being the #1 most common birth defect, we believe that every person should know what CHD is. Our mission is to spread awareness and raise funding for CHD research in order to give more options to babies like Adalyn. Our hope is that in our lifetime we will learn that the Adalyn Sparkle Heart Fund plays a big role in key medical breakthroughs that provide hope and additional options for children born with CHD.
